JFA Yachts just launched a 43 m Motor Yacht

The French shipyard JFA Yachts has launched the JFA 22C, a 141’ Motor Yacht on Saturday the 19th of March 2011.

This boat is designed by Vripack in the Netherlands. The Hull and superstructure is build out of aluminium. Her shapes and profile were developed for remote destinations, its fore deck being fully clear in order to host 2 large 5.6m tenders that could be appreciated for explorations.

The inside layout is divided in 3 decks. The main deck has a huge Saloon / dining room with large windows. The upper deck houses the wheelhouse, the captain’s cabin and a library saloon. Both these decks have an aft outside saloon. The lower deck offers 4 double guest cabins, the master cabin and the crew quarters. The total inside layout area reaches no less than 340m² and can accommodate 11 guest and 8 crew members.

The construction is followed by the Bureau Veritas in compliance with the MCA LY2 rules. She is equipped with two 750 Hp Cummins engines and three gensets. Its range is transatlantic at 11 knots. The engine room takes up the whole width of the boat in its aft part. This boat is the result of complex studies in terms of noise & vibration and each of its areas is insulated according to there recommendations. The construction began in June 2008. The sea trials will be carried out during the next 3 months until final delivery.
