Absolute 41: An open cruiser with a comfortable interior
Construction.
After the success of the 45, Absolute has now added the 41 model to its range. The Italian architects have included all the same ingredients for success, combining sport and comfort with the type of finishings usually found on larger yachts.
Deck.
The lines of the Absolute 41 are a harmonious yet contemporary blend of curves and angles with a V-shaped hull. One look at the 41 is enough to appreciate its sporting design. The cockpit with profiled windshield fits perfectly with the adjacent sundeck, and emphasis is placed on easy on-board movement. Two walkways on either side of the boat allow easy access to the teak bathing platform at the stern and to the two catwalks, which are protected by a high handrail.
Interior.
Comfort and space are the key words when you step inside the Absolute 41, with its two independent cabins (each with their own private bathroom) and a salon that converts easily into a double bed. Total sleeping capacity is four permanent and two convertible berths. True to tradition, the shipbuilder maintains its reputation for high quality finishings: light-coloured materials combined with plenty of natural light and deluxe furnishings offer a touch of luxury that passengers in the salon are sure to appreciate.
Engines.
Two 310 hp Volvo D6 Duo Prop diesel engines with twin propellers and Z-drive transmission. Lift-off takes less than 8 seconds and the engine speed builds up nicely. The recommended cruising speed is 25 knots at 2800 rpm and autonomy is a decent 350 nautical miles. But the Absolute 41 is quite capable of maximum speeds of up to 35 knots. Its ease of handling and excellent performance at sea make it an ideal open cruiser.
