A new flagship for the italian shipyard Sly Yachts
08/2009 –
This summer, Sly Yachts launched its new flagship: the Sly 61. Mainly the deck layout shows differences compared to the previous models in the Sly range. The outline catches the eyes because of its stylish roof in which continuous windows create preciousness. An absolutely new cut compared to the previous models which anyway it shows the same elegant/state-of-the-art look&feel that binds since several years the designer Marco Lostuzzi to the Sly’s shipyard.
Inheritance
Since the launch of the Sly 47 in 2005, this active shipyard from Cesena proposes fast cruising boats, easy to sail even with a reduced team.
From the construction point of view, this new flagship inherits recipes that made the success of the Sly’s range. Its hull, mast and boom are made of carbon, displacement is 18 tons with a sail area from 200 to 400 sqm. The lifting keel gives a draft from 3.8 m to 2.30 m.
Beside the standard technological peculiarities the Sly 61 includes all comforts at the top to enjoy cruising in blue water in a way as easy as pleasant. It has an impressive living space with a separate kitchen, an owner cabin at the front, 2 aft guest cabins and a skipper cabin for two. Regarding the deck with its surprising bimini (allowing to enjoy the shade event at sea), 3 differetns layouts are available. Sly, which proposes innovative fast sailing boats, signs here an intelligent and customizable new flagship.
