CRN launched 43 meters megayacht Lady Genyr
Lamberto Tacoli, Chairman and CEO of CRN S.p.a., claimed “Today’s launch is a further important step for CRN in establishing itself among the top players of international yachting. Just three months from the historic launch of the 80 metre ‘Chopi Chopi’, the largest pleasure vessel ever manufactured by CRN, the eighth Navetta 43 was put to sea. The exciting launch shows the commitment and the productive capacity of the Shipyard that has shown itself capable of combining innovation and tradition, creating tailor-made products for each client”.
Lady Genyr is the eighth megayacht of the successful Navetta 43 line, an outstanding result considering the size of this type of vessel. The first was CRN Navetta 43 #01 Emerald Star (delivered in 2007), followed by #02 Hana and #03 Rubeccan (2008), #4 Sofico (2009), #5 Eviva and #06 Kate (2010) and #07 Lady Trudy (2011), all megayachts with entirely customized interiors.
M/Y CRN NAVETTA 43 “LADY GENYR” 43 METRES
Entirely ‘Made in Italy’, the megayacht Lady Genyr is a displacement Navetta made of composite material and the suppliers involved were mainly locally-based, as with all other CRN vessels.
The external shape and the internal layout of the megayacht were designed by the architects of Studio Zuccon International Project, while CRN Naval Engineering has taken care of the naval project and the architects of the CRN office for Interior design found solutions for the interiors and the furnishing. The pleasure ship, 43 metres long and 8.6 wide, can comfortably host 10 passengers in five cabins (an Owner’s suite + four VIP cabins) and 9 crew members and it can sail in absolute comfort at a top speed of 15.5 knots and a cruising speed of 13 knots, with its 2 Caterpillar C32-C engines. It has a range of about 3,800 miles at 11 knots, therefore, perfectly capable of sailing across the ocean.
With its four decks and hull with bulbous, Lady Genyr, when compared to the other megayachts of the Navetta 43 line, has a new layout of the sun deck, characterized by even wider spaces. Among its special features is the internal lift linking the decks, expressly requested by the Owner. A distinctive feature of this vessel, like on most other ships of the CRN fleet, is the terrace of the Owner’s suite which is set up as a “balcony” with coffee tables and armchairs for breakfast, to be enjoyed while sailing.
In the interior spaces, classic timeless features prevail, giving it a design of sharp elegance. The large section set up as a fitness area at the stern, equipped with Technogym and Kinesis equipment, practically overlooking the beach by the sea, is a distinctive feature of CRN and a true “must have” for the clients who will be able to experience a unique way of enjoying close contact with the sea.
The vessel is also equipped with “myOlos”, an integrated entertainment, info and domotics system, developed by the partnership among CRN, Videoworks and Intel ensures on board functionality and a more user-friendly technology. The system allows you to easily manage all the entertainment – including audio and video on demand – air conditioning, video-surveillance, light and curtain control, just by using an iPad.
Now launched, the vessel will remain at the shipyard for the interiors to be completed: the final delivery to the owner will take place in July.
