Construction
There is a little sister in the French manufacturer Jeanneau’s Prestige family, which ranges from 30 to 50-footers. The Prestige 30 is available since 2007 in either an Open or Hard-Top version, known as Sportop, leaving the choice up to buyers in the hope of attracting more takers.

Above deck
This model’s overall lines are much the same as the longer versions in the range, logically since the 30 is the combined effort of Italian designer Garroni and the Jeanneau design office. The silhouette remains elegant both in the Open and the electric Hard-Top versions. The hard-top attaches perfectly to the windshield, giving a sleek finish. In the cockpit, Jeanneau provides a saloon with a table and semi-circular benchseat. The slightly raised helm station contains a pilot’s seat and a dashboard with a distinctly sporty look.  The hard-top opens up very widely to let in plenty of light. There are two gangways giving access to a comfortable sundeck for those lazy afternoons.

Below deck
The Prestige 30 is also bright and spacious below deck, with light coloured moabi wood, portholes and other light sources. The bow contains a saloon with a C-shaped benchseat and table that converts to a double berth and can be concealed with a curtain for extra privacy. In the centre on the starboard side, the owner’s cabin is separate from the rest of the interior and contains a large double bed. By locating the owner’s cabin to the side, the manufacturer has incorporated a bathroom on the other side with shower, sink and toilet. In addition, the Prestige 30 has a small galley area with a refrigerator, hot plate, sink and microwave.

Engines
Jeanneau offers several engine options on this model. For those who prefer a diesel solution, the Prestige 30 comes with two 190 hp Volvo engines. For gasoline fans, Jeanneau provides two 225 hp Volvo engines or, for maximum power and top speeds of close to 40 knots, 2x 280 hp Volvos.
