Giraglia Rolex Cup : a meteor named Alfa-Romeo

12/06/2008 –

In 18 hours 3 minutes and 15 seconds, Alfa-Romeo swallowed the 243 miles between Saint Tropez and Genoa, via the Giraglia rock in the north of Corsica. The new zealand sailing racer smashed from more than 4 hours the record it established in 2003.

After 3 days of coastal regattas, it started from St Tropez among 207 other competitors. For its 56th edition, the Giraglia Rolex Cup gathered exceptional boats (as the brand new GP42 class). The next session planned for july 10th to 13th will be not to miss.
